CONTRIVE Drummer To Perform With Wadaiko Rindo Taiko Drumming School
November 26, 2006Drummer Andrew Haug from Melbourne's CONTRIVE will be doing a special performance with the Wadaiko Rindo Taiko Drumming School for two shows only in December. The performances will take place on Saturday, December 9 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 10 at 2:30 p.m. at MLC (Methodist Ladies' College) in Kew, Australia.
Andrew has been studying the art of Taiko drumming with the school for several years and for those unaware of this amazing and unique style of drumming check out the solo Taiko track titled "Todoroki" performed by him on the latest CONTRIVE album, "The Meaning Unseen".

As previously reported, CONTRIVE has been hard at work penning new tracks for its upcoming sophomore album, tentatively due sometime in 2007. The band's debut CD, "The Meaning Unseen", was mixed by Fredrik Nordström (DIMMU BORGIR, DARK TRANQUILLITY) and was relesed last year through Shock Records.
